The General Director of BPAM Alexandru Baltag participated in the Moldovan-Emirian Business Forum held on May 9 in Dubai. The event was attended by the Ministers of Economy of both countries Chiril Gaburici and Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, the management of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Dubai and representatives of the business environment.
 
The General Director of BPAM Alexandru Baltag participated in the Moldovan-Emirian Business Forum held on May 9 in Dubai. The event was attended by the Ministers of Economy of both countries Chiril Gaburici and Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, the management of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Dubai and representatives of the business environment.
 
On the margins of the event Alexandru Baltag had an exchange of views with the first vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dubai Majid Hamad R. Al Shamsi. The two agreed to initiate collaboration between business organizations, which will contribute to the development of business environment in both countries. The Emirian side is particularly interested in agriculture, industrial products, IT sector, construction, infrastructure and tourism.
 
Together with the Minister Chiril Gaburici, the General Director of BPAM also participated in a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sharjah, Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, where several board members were present. The meeting established the need to create a Moldovan-Emirian Business Council by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry from the United Arab Emirates and Business People’s Association of Moldova. Efforts in this regard are to be launched by both parties as soon as possible.
 
Also, Alexandru Baltag has made a study visit to the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone, which is one of the largest and most developed in the world.
